Impact of principals development skills on administrative effectiveness in public secondary schools in rivers state

The study investigated impact of principals’ development skills on administrative effectiveness in public secondary schools in Rivers state. Three objectives and three hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. A correlational survey design was adopted. The population of the study consisted of all the two hundred seventy eighty (278) principals in public secondary schools in Rivers state, Nigeria. A stratified sampling technique was adopted in selecting a sample of one hundred, and thirty nine (139) principals in public secondary schools in Rivers state, Nigeria. This represents 50% of the entire population of principals.
