The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between deviant behavior and family upbringing patterns among children in care homes in Irbid from their teachers' perspectives, and to investigate the effect of gender, experience, academic level and age on their perspectives. To achieve the aim of the study a questionnaire was distributed among 20 teachers (13 males and 7 females) from three care homes in Irbid. The questionnaires were collected and data was analyzed statistically using suitable statistics. Results showed that there are statistically significant differences in the teachers' perspectives towards the relationship between deviant behavior and family upbringing patterns among children in care homes in Irbid, it also showed that there are statistically significant differences at (ï¡= 0.05) in the teachers' perspectives towards the relationship between deviant behavior and family upbringing patterns among children in care homes in Irbid due to the gender variable, and there are statistically significant differences at (ï¡= 0.05) in the teachers' perspectives towards the relationship between deviant behavior and family upbringing patterns among children in care homes in Irbid due to experience variable and academic qualification variable.
