The study assessed the practices of cocoa rehabilitation techniques among cocoa farmers in the study area. The study was carried out in the Southwestern and Southern regions of Nigeria. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 450 respondents from the four chosen cocoa producing States in Nigeria. Information was collected from the respondents with the use of structured questionnaire and the data retrieved from the information collected were analyzed using Descriptive Statistics .The result of the analysis shows that 56.44% of the respondents are aged 50 years and below while 28.29% of the respondents are having primary school education and above. The result further shows that 38.83% of the respondent farmers are having the knowledge of cocoa rehabilitation techniques. However, out of this, 10.02% of the farmers are actually practicing the techniques on their farms. The study therefore recommended that farmers should be enlightened more on the need to practice rehabilitation techniques on their farms so as to increase their cocoa yield and consequently improves their livelihood.
