This study aims at assessing the competitiveness of the cotton industry in Cote d'Ivoire. The survey involved two hundred and eighty-nine (289) producers, four (04) ginning companies, one (01) spinning company, two (02) crushing companies and seven (07) management structures of the sector. The data were analyzed using Monke and Pearson's (1989) Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM). Results showed that the cotton industry is competitive and has a comparative advantage.
