Agricultural mechanization in Mexico: A systems approach

Abstract

Jaime Cuauhtémoc Negrete

This paper aims to describe the relationship between agriculture, society and machines, from a systems approach to highlight that these exist and are necessary, since it has been claimed that in developing countries can do without the machine element so that the productivity of the system is raised to its highest expression and consequently the decline of agriculture with the consequent impoverishment of society and ecosystems. Likewise alternatives derived from this approach for the optimization of agriculture, society and agricultural machinery system using the techniques of systems engineering and general systems theory are proposed, which inhibit paradigms finding the right balance of this relationship.
